Originally from Burgundy, Claude and Pierre-Olivier Coron have always been passionate about wine, gastronomy and the French regions. Their professional and personal lives have always led them across vineyards.

Having worked for the development of the « Hameau du Vin » of Georges Duboeuf from 1993 to 1999, Pierre-Olivier created Promenades en France with his wife Claude’s help.

After developing a « tourism » section Promenades en France then created a « business » section. Promenades en France has offered cycling tours across the vineyards of France, since it took over the company Visit’Bourgogne. Catherine Brossais is now in charge of the cycling and hiking tours.

In Spring 2007 Ghislain Pagès and Marie Kressmann joined the team when an office opened in Bordeaux.
