3.50pm: Departure by TGV 1st class from Paris Montparnasse.
6.50 pm: Arrival at Bordeaux St Jean train station.
Welcome by your personal guide at the station.
Transfer to the 4* hotel Burdigala by taxi.

Diner and night at the hotel

After the breakfast, meeting with your personal guide and departure with a minibus to Saint Emilion.

Morning: Guided tour of Saint Emilion, which has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997.
The village offers wonderful opportunities to discover its narrow cobblestoned streets and hidden troglodyte treasures.

Noon: Gourmet lunch in a private room of Hostellerie de Plaisance, Relais et Châteaux.

Afternoon: Departure by minibus to discover two of the most famous Grands Crus Classés of Saint Emilion: Château Angélus and Château Figeac.

At less than one kilometre of the city centre of Saint Emilion, Château Angelus, 1st Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion, will open the doors for you, for a visit and a wine tasting.

Then, at only few metres from the famous Château Cheval Blanc, you will visit and taste the wines of Château Figeac, 1st Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion, the most ‘médocains’ in the style of Saint Emilion wine.

After the visit, transfer to the hotel. A short walk in the pedestrian streets of Bordeaux to the restaurant.

Diner: A gourmet dinner inspired by the French South-West cuisine, by the chief Nicolas Frion, in one of the most beautiful restaurant of the city, Le Chapon Fin.

Night at the hotel****.

After the breakfast, meeting with your personal guide and departure with a minibus to the Médoc area.

Morning: Discovery of the Margaux wines, starting by Château Kirwan, 3rd classified cru of 1855. Visit and a wine tasting (with some cheeses and tapas), followed by a picnic lunch in the garden of this family estate (the winner of the Best of Wine Tourism in 2008 for the Architecture and Gardens).

Afternoon: After the cold lunch, you continue the road and the next estate on your way is Château Brane Cantenac, 2nd classified cru of 1855.
Transfer to another area of Médoc, visit of the famous Château Pichon Longueville, 2nd classified cru of 1855, in Pauillac.

One of the most renowned châteaux of the Médoc region among: Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and Château Latour. You will be seduced by its history and its wines.

Diner: An evening meal in one of the most beautiful château of the area by its architecture: Château Beychevelle, 4th classified cru of 1855. Charming, small ‘Versailles’ situated on the Garonne river.
After the dinner, transfer to the hotel by minibus.

Night at the hotel****.

Morning: After the breakfast, meeting with your personal guide and guided tour of Bordeaux.

Noon: Lunch in a restaurant, in front of the beautiful Grand Théâtre.
After the lunch, transfer by taxi to the Bordeaux St Jean train station.

3.25 pm: Departure from Bordeaux St Jean in TGV 1st class.
6.50 pm: Arrival at Paris Montparnasse train station.
