The Drôme Provençale is a paradise of flavours and scents. During this cycling tour, you will be charmed by the scents of thyme, lavender, lime and olive-trees and you will be tempted to taste the regional products: truffles, nougats, apricots, grapes..
In the area, towns and villages are rocked by the melody of fountains, proud of their feudal towers, châteaux and bell-towers.

Day 1: Grignan
Welcome of the participants at the hotel, in Grignan. Explanation of the cycling tour, the road book, maps, scenic information. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Grignan – La Garde Adhémar - Saint-Paul 3 Châteaux – Suze la Rousse – 45 Km
Today you will discover typical villages of the Drôme Provençale area : la Garde-Adhémar, Saint-Paul-3-Châteaux and Suze la Rousse. La Garde-Adhémar, classified as one of the most beautiful villages of France, is worth a visit because of the history and local craftsmen. Saint-Paul-3-Châteaux, surrounded with medieval ramparts, is the old capital city of Tricastin. You will discover the cathedral and the Saint-Just chapel and Suze-la-Rousse with the renowned University of Wine in the medieval castle at the top of the village.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3: Suze – Visan – Vinsobres – Nyons - 35 Km
After breakfast you will head off to the vineyards of Visanet de Vinsobres. You can go and visit Richerenches, where there is a truffle market on Saturdays in November and March. At the end of the day you will arrive in Nyons, known as an olive oil city. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4: Nyons – Dieulefit – 25 Km
You will cycle in the Gorges de l’Eygues… and then drive through Concordet in order to go up the Valouse pass to join la Paillette. You will then go to Dieulefit.
Day 5: Dieulefit – Grignan – 32km
After breakfast, departure in direction of Grignan through Le Poêt Laval…marvellous restored villages of Templar. You’ll stop at the top of the Montagne de la Série, where you have an extraordinary panorama of the area. Arrival in Grignan in the afternoon. Discovery of this town and of the châteaux of Madame de Sévigné.
Dinner and overnight stay.
