Bordeaux is famous for its history and trade, possessing the world’s finest vineyards. This cycling tour will allow you to discover landscapes, culture and traditions marked by these vineyards. Through “l’entre deux mers”, area bordered by two rivers, the Garonne and the Dordogne, you will breathe the fruity perfume of wine and you will cross the famous villages of Cadillac, St Emilion, Malromé…
Day 1: Arrival
Welcome of the participants at the centrally located hotel in Bordeaux. Presentation of the tour by a representative of the agency: road books, maps, bicycles… Dinner in the city centre and overnight stay.

L’ENTRE-DEUX-MERS and SAINT-EMILION
Day 2: Bordeaux - Cadillac : 35km
After breakfast the participants will be transferred to Latresne. The route will follow a cycling track to la Sauve Majeure. It will then lead you along the bottom of the vineyard hills to join Cadillac. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Cadillac – Saint-Macaire : 20km
You will head to Loupiac and to Sainte-Croix du Mont. These villages gave their names to the famous syrupy wines of this area…. You will pass the Château Malromé, which belonged to the Toulouse-Lautrec Family! Don’t hesitate to stop for a visit and taste the Château’s wines! At the end of the day you will reach Saint-Macaire, a beautiful fortified town (Visit the Saint-Sauveur church, the old priory and the cloister). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Saint Macaire - Saint-Emilion : 47km
You will set off to Saint-Emilion, leaving the Entre-Deux-Mers region to join the right bank of the Dordogne. You will come to the region of Saint-Emilion exploring UNESCO heritage listed landscape. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Saint-Émilion et ses alentours : 24km
The day is dedicated to the discovery of Saint-Emilion and its outskirts: Saint Christophe des Bardes, Castillon la Bataille, Saint Etienne de Lisse, Saint Laurent des Combes,... You will visit the town of Castillon la Bataille where the 100year war ended. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Return to Bordeaux : 31km
Saint Emilion, Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens, Branne, Le Moulon, Nérijean, Sallebeouf, ... Last jaunt in the Entre-Deux-Mers before ending the tour. Dinner and overnight stay.
