First of all, note that the Beaujolais is part of the Burgundy wine area… This tour will guide you across 70km of marvellous Beaujolais countryside:
- The 10 Crus region : from Saint-Amour to Brouilly which represents 25% of the Beaujolais wine production
- The « Green » Beaujolais or the Beaujolais of Forests :
the Beaujolais reaches its highest point at 1009 m (Mont Saint-Rigaud) and the vines are cultivated up to 400 m altitude,
- The “Pierres-Dorées” : from Brouilly to the outskirts of Lyon, you will discover ochre coloured villages.
